Outside, rain was falling, a gentle tapping sound against the window.
My focus shifted and I imagined the sound of rain against the transparent cockpit of a small space craft landed on an alien planet on the far edge of a distant galaxy.
Where to next?
Just take off, escape the atmosphere, pick a distant target
and go.
Find new worlds, see strange places, discover unfamiliar creatures.
So simple.
